CPO ~ Chief Paint Officer

Christina Watts

After 17 years in accounting and finance Christina made a life altering decision to leave that career behind and follow her passion which involved paint.  A lot of it.

She opened up a small art shop, held art and furniture redesign classes, won Art Battles, curated exhibitions, hosted the Just Paint It show on Shaw TV and was announced the 2020 Artist of the Year from the Prince George Citizen.  She spent years on a journey to understand paint and all it’s fantastic applications.

2020 was a bumpy ride that presented many challenges.  In person classes ceased so Christina produced many online and virtual options.  Stock shortages for the supply section of the shop also created a void that needed to be filled so with her paint knowledge she moved into manufacturing watercolours, Butterfly Forest Paints which are now sold globally.

She was about to renovate her shop to feature both her new Butterfly Forest Paint line and another well known furniture paint when she got yet some more bad news.  The corporate paint brand made the decision to recind their contract and remove the protective radius for which their retailers operated in.  This big hit sliced revenues in their small markets which sadly cut the pay cheques.

So Christina did what Christina always does, she put her paint apron on and worked on a new furniture paint.  One that provides not just incredible new colours but the ease and durability that us painters love.

Christina’s small town values are centerfold when it comes to building a brand people can count on.  With all quality checks in place, a mindfulness to clean paint, natural and biodegradable products you are sure to enjoy a wonderful paint experience and transform any of your home DIY projects.

Paint makes me happy.
